Strategies to address water issues such as droughts, floods, pollution, and inequitable access to clean water in the Intermountain West are plentiful. Communities are at the forefront of facing and addressing these issues and are equipped with key experiences and knowledges to implement strategies to sustain the future of watersheds that they belong to and to sustain the future of their communities. This Collaborative Working Group connects Charters across a broad cross section of research in the Transformation Network, including research related to historical and current governance structures, water planning processes with Indigenous communities, Clean Water Act compliance issues, among others.
