Bio:

My research interests lie at the intersection of watershed hydrology, water quality, and hydrological modeling, with an emphasis on understanding how natural disturbances and human water management influence hydrologic processes and water quality. I am particularly interested in process-based watershed modeling, surface–subsurface flow interactions, soil erosion and sediment transport, post-wildfire hydrologic and water-quality responses, and reservoir water quality. My research also integrates remote sensing, geospatial analysis, statistical and optimization methods, and machine learning and AI to improve watershed and reservoir modeling. A broader goal of my work is to develop modeling and decision-support approaches that help address water-supply, ecosystem, and water-management challenges under changing environmental conditions.
