Alyssa is a PhD student at New Mexico State University researching forest governance. Their research interests include political ecology, environmental policy, as well as relational and systems-based approaches to understanding socioecological dynamics. Alyssa holds an M.S. in Forest Resources, and a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. In their free time, Alyssa enjoys reading and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
