Bio:
Mariah Papac has a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. Her experience includes four years in industry, two years in storm-water design/management, and two years in environmental consulting for governmental agencies, before she decided to get her master’s degree from Colorado State University. Mariah’s research is trying to determine if there is a relationship between inundation dynamics (e.g., frequency) and floodplain carbon storage in montane headwater streams. Her hobbies include running, mountain biking, reading, and cooking!
